North Carolina food stamps released early ahead of Hurricane Dorian (2019)

If you usually receive your food stamp benefits between 9/9 and 9/27, you got early access to them on 9/7. North Carolina released benefits early to help you prepare for Hurricane Dorian.

These are EARLY benefits, not EXTRA benefits! Be sure to budget extra carefully this month.

In October, households that normally get benefits between 10/1 and 10/15 will get them on the normal schedule. Households that normally get benefits between 10/17 and 10/21 will get them on 10/15.

In November, the schedule will return to normal.
